Victoria has the mildest climate in Canada and the people that move to Victoria are really buying a life style. Many of these people live very active lives and kayak, hike, walk, run and more. Victoria is just the perfect place to do all this.
We have one of the largest segments of people “The Baby Boomers� coming up for retirement in Canada. The Boomers have been very successful in many ways and have accumulated substantial savings.
Most of us thought that the “Boomers� would sell their house and move in to a smaller condominium. This does not seem to be the case. Now that both of them are at home, the trend is for larger homes and condominiums so they have room for their hobbies, office, etc.
We also find that many also purchase a recreation property and help their kids getting started in the Real Estate Market.
A recreation property does not necessary mean a little cottage on the beach or out in the bush somewhere. We find that many of our clients purchase a condominium in Victoria as their get away.
